It seems to me that Indonesian People are more and more becoming ignorrant.

   I'm born to this world... to this so-called society, thus they judge me, by their values, not mine, and they start to catogorize me, to their values, not mine. If I say something about it, they will acusse me for 'not polite', 'not valued by society', 'jackass', even 'subversive' or 'dangerous'.

   It just seem unfair to me, who the hell give them the previllege of setting values? What's not fair also is how they tend to doctrinaze those junk value to my heads. They try to... create me, sad eh? what a futile effort!

   Why is it that everytime I show myself, the true me, they will began to hate me? and when I go 'polite' *cough* hypocrite *cough* ways.. they accept me? What happens to the good old 'never judge a book from its cover'? What ever happens to our honesty?

   See.. i was watching news, suddenly my attention caught a news of FPI peopla acting as 'moslem police' strike the headquarter of Jemaah Ahmadiah at some village called Parung in Bogor city. And the news also said that MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia: some comitte that sucks up government ass and claim they know the truth about Islam) has declared that Ahmadiah is a forbidden teaching.

   Now, I'm not follower of Ahmadiah and I DEFINITELY not an FPI fan. But the insight here is the arrogance of FPI and MUI that claims that Ahmadiah is wrong. What right do they have to attack Ahmadiah physically? Are they mule?(yes they are!)

   And also MUI, who make them GOD? telling everyone what is right and what is wrong? Do they really have justification to do it? Face it MUI! you're nothing but Soeharto's pawn in the old days and now you got NO believer except for those puny idiots (like ridwan or andina)!!

   Islam teaching, as far as I know of, is far from violence. It teaching consist of love, self respect and tauhid. And if FPI says: "It is JIHAD", from all i Know is JIHAD starts with battling the evil within!

   Let me end this rant with quote from former american president, which i cannot remember who, either Jefferson or someone else:"I may not agree of what are u saying, but i will defend to death your rights to say it."

   First of all what I want to comprehend here is the foundation of those things above, while religion requires faith, science needs logic. And the war between these two concepts has been the colour of human's civilization progress.

   Religion, has been known to ask the total faith of its believer with no question asked. Or if the question really do asked anyway, its believer will seek answer on the religion itself. What faith cannot accept is the human nature to think freely, so it will reroute back to the fact that believer dont have the right to question the values of the teaching (hmmm i know some moslem or cristians will debate me for this, okay not all religion branch suffer to this matter).

   While Science got its first jump at the age of renaissance. People at that age starting to break the Catholic's doctrine reign and start to believe in values of objectivity and using rational logic wich can be proven with our own 5 senses. What logic cannot comprehend is there is event and phenomenon that science cannot comprehends, then science will judge it as "non-sense". The lack human sense IMO is the barrier for us to see the real world. But then again it is necessary for our survival (if our ancestor sees the bear as proton neutron and electron, the bear WILL eat him because he wont run from the bear)

   What I'm triying to propose here is hegel's dialectic approach to see this issue. If religion is thesis and science is anti-thesis then what is the sinthesys?

   It is not far from late 20th century that our science steps into new prespective. Since Einstein started the relativity theory, the snowball effect has been enlaged and this is what we call 'quantum physics'

   As our logic evolving, we should see things as their real being. (it is funny eh? how mystic know 1000 years before science found out). We started to realize that 'to be' and 'not to be' means nothing, there is NO existence and non-existence.
   And i do believe someday, WHEN we found the prove of God exintence (or not), it wont matter anymore. Since our logic will be SO much advanced.
   So maybe like Ruli said is true, the intention of God to create us human, is to live without His help.

A couple weeks ago in the morning, I was on my way to my office at Kota, then I took Busway (a shuttle bus that connects Blok M and Kota with path of its own) from Blok M. After standing a qq for like half an hour then i step into the bus and seeing there's no more seat left so I took the liberty of standing in the bus. At Masjid Agung stop, the bus picks up 5 passenger, which one of them is a seemingly looking as college student dress up in AGJ (anak gaul jakarte) style (God i hate that style, call me prejudiced). Then at Bunderan Senayan Stop, the bus picks 1 old lady.

   Now what happen next is... at Gelora Soekarno stop, 1 passenger is leaving his seat and the old lady is prepare to take his seat. But then, the college student (who look like AGJ) take that seat!!! WTF!! He grabs that seat even HE KNOWS that the old lady is about to sit there!

Hmm... I must admit 1 thing... this entry is inspired by Ridwan's quote: "If you want to learn about life, why dont u learn from people who undertake life"

Okay, now what I discover here is How arrogant a human being can be...
